Religion and Spoken Language

 The Catholic majority is held  because the Conquistadors reached to Colombia when colonizing, and their missions make the public Catholic(85%). However other European countries had a share of the riches at stake in Colombia: these other countries were Protestant so 13% remain Protestant. Another major religion holds a grip on Colombias captivating culture,Bahá'í, the Native religion of  indigeounous people. the colorful beliefs and magnificent worship places you must visit the vivacious religion of Bahá'í.

Flora and Fauna of Colombia

 Here, where the Pacific, Amazonian, Caribbean, and grassy lowland regions or Orniquian regions  meet, the landscapes are a cornucopia of towering canopy trees, snow-capped peaks, grasslands, deserts, wetlands, rainforests, dry forests, cloud forests, and other habitats. While world-renowned for its variety in bird species, Colombia also has an extraordinary diversity of amphibians and mammals, as well as orchids and butterflies. Its amphibious wildlife includes anocados and boas among all wild snake, while lethal dart frogs vividly color the forest, with giant capybaras eating.. the species are increased by the fact it is surrounded by the towering Andes mountains, grassy lowlands, Amazon rainforests, and much more including the stunning selection of orchids adorning the florists shops here.

The Government of Colombia

Colombia is run by a republic system of government as opposed to the United States democratic government system. Colombia's biggest trading partner is the United States, which buys 40 percent of the country's exports. Colombia sends a variety of items overseas, including coffee, bananas, oil, coal, gold, platinum, and emeralds. One of Colombia's worst exports, though, is illegal drugs. With help from the United States, the Colombian government is carrying out Plan Colombia, a costly and wide-ranging effort to rid the country of the gangs, called cartels, that produce illegal drugs for sale around the world.

The Colombian Flag

This is the Colombian flag. The flag of Colombia was adopted on November 26, 1861. It is a horizontal tricolour of yellow, blue and red. The yellow stripe takes up the top half of the flag and the blue and red take up a quarter of the space each.

Colombia

Colombia is a spanish speaking country located at the top of South America. Its culture is known as Colombians. Colombia has coasts on both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Their culture melded with those of the conquistadors that conquered them. Instead of resistance to the foriegn culture they accepted and changed it. The 1,550 types of birds and covering 440,000 square mile the diverse traditions of Equador are very much their own. The Colombian coffee crop is the finest and renowned for strong, rich flavor.  A typical meal is identified by size rather than content, such as a light breakfast, a substantive midday lunch, and a lighter meal in the early evening. As in many cultures influenced by Europe and in southern climates, the climax of meals is the lunch, not dinner like in the U.S and other countries.
